I am blessed with three children (ages 17 to 22). The home schooling I've done with all of them has been a resounding success. At this point I'm teaching my youngest mathematics and computer programming.

For most of my professional life I have developed compilers for programming languages including Fortran and C++. Liant Software Corp. released the LPI C++ compiler which I developed with David Michaels and Tom Friedman.

My work led to release of the Mac version of Liant's C++/Views product. This "application framework" type of tool for programmers was more recently sold as "Allegris Workshop" by INTERSOLV, when it was overtaken by the Java bandwagon. More recently I developed key features for several releases of the Code Integrity software development information system, working for Software Emancipation and for MKS.

This web site, www.pkturner.org, also features my outdoor interests and family photos.
